This is the story of a little girl who grew up with the memories of her past life. She can remember at three years old that she has three sons, and remembers the day she “dies”. Fact or Fiction?

In 1948 Swarnlata Mishra is born. She acts like any other child growing up. Until three short years later. In 1951, Swarnlata, age three, is in a vehicle with her dad, over a hundred from home (and the first time traveling so far away) when she tells the driver to turn down a passing road because they “better tea”. When questioned by her father she says that she lives down that street. Soon after, more memories come to surface. She tells her parents her name is Biya Pathark and has two sons. She then describes the old house she used to live, even remembering the first floor was made of stone. She als remembers having a motor vehicle (a rarity in India in the 1950’s).
In 1958, when she is ten, news reaches researcher and professor Sri H.N. Banerjee. And that’s when he decides to make a visit to the family. He soon interviews the family, and then young Swarnlata herself. She tells him her name is Biya Mishra, and died in 1939. After the interview, and using only the knowledge which she provided him, he found the house. The house has new additions to it. He also finds the girls school not to far away that she described.
The summer of 1959 comes around, and the family of deceased Biya Mishra hears about Swarnlata. They to, decide to visit her. When they arrive in the city of Chhatarpur, they have nine townsman accompany them. When they arrive unannounced, ten year old Swarnlata instantly recognizes the brother from her past life, calling him”babu”, her childhood pet name for him. She then identifies her son, who was only thirteen when she died. This is when the Pathark family decides to put her to the test.
They have a townsman who looks identical to her son, lie and claim that he is her son. But she stands strong that he is only but a stranger. She even remembers that he stole 1200 rupees that she kept in a box from her. When hearing this, he is shocked, for only he and his wife knew. Test after test, she accurately remembers and passes. This is when the Pathark family believes she is Biya reborn. This belief is strong, that they even their beliefs. Even her present life family accepts she is Biya.
Years later, when it is time for her to be married, her father (present life), consulted with the Parkath family in whom she should marry. In later reports, the family says that even though she knows who she was, she accepts the role of her present life. Mishra, all grown up, got a degree in botany, and is happily married.
Akira’s Forums has requested to interview Mishra and her family, and is currently waiting for a reply. So tell us what you think! Will we find that is telling the truth, or is this just a conspiracy? Comment in the section below, and thanks for reading!!!
